Our CEO Betsy joined Valerie Killifer and Anthony Russo on podcast “The Takeout, Delivery, and Catering Show”. They discussed food safety concerns in the restaurant industry and the effects of off-premise dining. Betsy dove into what restaurants and operators should be aware of when looking to partner with off-premise catering or delivery. 

The truth of the matter is, when the food leaves your door, you have given up control of what happens next. When looking to up your profits, don’t forget to pay attention to the safety of the food. Some points to be aware of that Betsy touched on in the podcast are the temperature danger zones (how can you really control these when it leaves your door) and foodborne illnesses (be aware that the trip can add more than mileage to food).
